Another perk of joining British Airways Executive Club is the launch of their new magazine for members, ‘The Club’, designed and developed by Reactive. The magazine informs members about how to maximise their Executive Club benefits to their full potential while also offering interesting articles related to travel, business, food and drink.
The stylish design and stunning visuals of The Club epitomise sophistication and luxury, which is synonymous with British Airways Executive Club. The magazine elevates itself over other airline publication by using responsive design templates to deliver an experience optimised for mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop.
At Reactive 'responsive design' is seeing growing demand, and is an alternative to creating a mobile optimised site with it's own simplified sitemap.
The team at Reactive London created the site by using HTML5 caching technology to enable users to save the magazine for reading offline, perfect for downtime reading when there’s no Wi-Fi available.
Reactive and British Airways have partnered together on projects before, with Reactive designing their Inflight Entertainment in April 2011. The IFE was awarded a Highly Commended this year in the Create Design Awards and was a finalist for the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) Awards in the Leisure & Travel category.
‘The Club’ has been emailed to Executive Club members with plans for future issues being rolled out.
