Reactive

Peregrine are Australia's leading Adventure Travel firm, with hundreds of trips to all corners of the globe. Reactive and Peregrine have enjoyed a strong relationship over the past 5 years, and when the time was right to completely overhaul the existing site, Reactive were the natural choice.

The Solution

The new Peregrine site features extensive Content Management, allowing Peregrine staff to maintain information about all of the trips. There is also an integrated online eCommerce booking system, which links directly to Peregrine's internal Reservations System.

Reactive designed the site to create a sense of excitement about each region, with unique header graphics designed in Flash. Other page elements are also built in Flash, to decrease load-time and enhance interactivity.

Another feature of the Peregrine site are the three viewing modes: Flash, Normal and Text-only. If you're on a slow connection, flick the switch to Text-only and watch the pages fly!

Peregrine also operate "grass roots" trips under the Gecko's brand. The site is divided into the 2 brands, with each having unique graphics and content, but sharing the same Content Management System and overall template structure. To switch between brands, simply click on the brand logo in the top-right corner.
