Web Standards
To ensure pages are displayed correctly we recommend users equip themselves with a standards-compliant browser. These are free to download from their respective web sites and will assure a faster, more secure and more productive online experience.
The latest releases of these browsers are standards compliant:
![]() Firefox | ![]() Safari (MacOS) | ![]() Internet Explorer | ![]() Netscape | ![]() Opera |
Adhering to Web Standards
Web Standards are a group of technologies for creating and interpreting web-based content. These technologies were established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to deliver the greatest benefits to the greatest number of web users. By designing and building with these standards, Reactive Media delivers sites that are accessible to more people and more types of Internet devices. These sites will continue to function correctly as traditional desktop browsers evolve, and as new Internet devices come to market.
A smarter solution
One of the web standards implemented by Reactive Media are Cascading Style Sheets which are used to present pages in a standards-compliant, accessible manner. This technique decreases download times, allows a greater number of users to access web pages and increases browser speeds. Because obsolete, non-standards compliant browsers do not interpret this technology correctly, we ensure pages are rendered with styles sheets disabled to allow only the content to be displayed. This ensures our sites are accessible to anyone using any browser.
