Brief
Reactive has been working with Campus Living Villages (CLV) for over 18 months. CLV is a global leader in student accommodation, with over 30,000 beds across Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA. CLV has experienced rapid growth since opening its first property in 2003, and continues to expand. Reactive were engaged by CLV in 2009 to redesign and develop their corporate and 40 village websites, applying the extensive branding work done by Strategy Design and Advertising, CLV’s branding partner.
Design & Strategy
The project involved an extensive information architecture and audience investigation phase involving the development of personas and scenarios, followed by a design and development phase.
A key factor for the 40 village websites was the need to have a consistent structure which could be rolled out across all locations and for content to be easily updateable. Where CLV initially had one global and four separate country websites, these were consolidated into a single business information portal.
Solution
The end result is a solution which caters not only to the 40 village websites but a global site housing business information. All of the websites were built using Reactive’s powerful CMS cManager 4.0, allowing the client to easily perform content updates and maintenance tasks independently of Reactive.

Results
Reactive has an ongoing relationship with Campus Living Villages and continues to work with the client to provide strategic, creative and development services.
The site continues to receive industry recognition and recently scooped Gold and Silver at the international W³ Awards with a record win of five awards.
