SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited is a leading entertainment and gaming business with a great brand and an iconic status as a New Zealand and Australian listed company.
With casinos in five destinations, alongside a variety of industry-leading restaurants and bars, luxury hotels, convention centres and cinemas SKYCITY offer a full entertainment package.
Reactive were commissioned to design and launch Web sites for each of the destinations, plus the corporate SKYCITY site.
The primary goal of the Web sites were to:
- Generate hotel and restaurant bookings
- Promote entertainment facilities to drive patrons to the venues
- Raise the profile of the What’s On to promote cross-sell opportunities
- A dynamic Web site that could be easily updated via a Content Management System (CMS)
Solution
The final solution comprises an elegant interface that showcases the entertainment package available at SKYCITY. Some of the site’s features include:
- Highly usable site with consolidated information architecture.
- Contextual promotional links that encourages users to cross-traverse through the site.
- Integration with cManager 4.0 for multi-site administration

- Visitors to website - increased by 39.3%
- Page views - increased by 43.26%
- Pages per visit - increased by 24.5%
- Average time on site - increased by 5.92%
- Bounce rate - decreased by 9.65%
