Brief
The Supply Hub approached Reactive to design and develop a contemporary Web site that reflected its Design, Develop, Deliver philosophy and supports The Supply Hub's global procurement services.
The Supply Hub, as a growing business, support organisations to overcome the challenges and risks associated with sourcing product in Asia through their end-to end procurement capability.
The new site was developed with extensive consultation with client both within the Information Architecture and design phases and the result was a cool, contemporary site.
The primary objectives for the project were to reinforce the unique positioning of The Supply Hub online - Design - Develop – Deliver, and generate dialogue and interaction between The Supply Hub and Web site visitors, including existing and new customers.
Design & Strategy
Inspired by the brand brief, we created concept designs that strongly reflect the Design, Develop, Deliver philosophy and used a casual, contemporary & clean approach.
The site design also challenges standard Web site conventions by using unique layouts and user paths for navigation while maintaining an effective and seamless user experience.
Solution
To provide a simple yet reliable CMS solution that provides easy to maintain content on the Supply Hub Web site, we implemented Umbraco; a globally established and highly usable open source CMS. Built on the Microsoft .Net platform, Umbraco facilitates administration of Web site content - ideal for a company with a frequently expanding product offering.
Reactive designed, developed and delivered this solution in an 8-week turnaround in close collaboration with the client.
Results
The Supply Hub is extremely happy with the end result and planning for Phase Two is underway.
